Artist Bio
Cheretta Hill-Botchwey
(Bio as of March 2020)
Cheretta Hill-Botchwey (Dance Consultant) makes her Goodman Theatre debut. Cheretta is a Chicago-based performer, dance instructor and choreographer specializing in traditional African rhythms and contemporary African dance. Chicago credits include Sita Ram, Brundibar (Lookingglass Theatre Company); First Wives Club (Broadway In Chicago); Hansel and Gretel, Tosca and Carmen (Lyric Opera). Cheretta has trained in Ghana and Senegal, is the Co-Director of Maraba Dance Ensemble and a principal dancer with the Muntu Dance Theatre of Chicago.
