College Ambassador Program

The College Ambassador program is a FREE service that provides current college students with special offers, invitations and behind-the-scenes access to Goodman productions.

College Ambassadors

Become a College Ambassador for the Goodman both online and in-person! Goodman’s College Ambassadors are a select group of Chicago area college and university students that help the Goodman team with campus outreach and engagement. They connect students with Goodman productions and programs in new and innovative ways.

APPLY TO BE A COLLEGE AMBASSADOR

College Ambassadors have the following responsibilities:

  • Attend and/or volunteer at College Nights (3 per season)
  • Attend a promotion meeting prior to each College Night (meetings take place over Zoom)
  • Distribute College Night digital and/or print advertising materials to fellow students
  • Document attendance at College Night performances on personal social media channels, tagging Goodman Theatre

College Ambassadors must consistently meet all of the above requirements for the entirety of the Goodman Theatre season in which they participate (September – June)

College Ambassador perks include:

  • A FREE pair of tickets to each College Night throughout the season in which they participate
  • Complimentary tickets to preview nights for most productions throughout the Goodman season in which College Nights are not offered
  • Access to special membership events such as behind-the-scenes panel discussions, tickets to select opening night performances and more
  • Engagement with the wider theater community through Goodman Theatre social media accounts
  • Networking and mentorship opportunities with Goodman Theatre staff

Join your fellow theater-loving college students for pizza and a play! A $10 ticket to one of our college nights include a pre-show reception with all-you-can-eat pizza, soda, and a discussion with a featured cast member. Mark your calendars for these upcoming College Nights:

Student Ticket Program

FOR ALBERT THEATRE PRODUCTIONS

At 10am each performance day, the remaining rear mezzanine rows and partial view boxes are available for $10 per ticket online; just enter the promo code 10TIX prior to selecting performance date and seats. Also available in person at the box office starting at 12noon. A student ID must be presented when picking up tickets at will call; limit four tickets per student ID. All 10TIX purchases are subject to availability; not available by phone; handling fees still apply.

FOR OWEN THEATRE PRODUCTIONS

Students may purchase advance tickets to any Owen Theatre production for $10 per ticket using the promo code 10TIX prior to selecting performance date and seats. These tickets are not limited to day of performances. All tickets are held at will call and a valid student ID must be presented to claim them. This offer is available online or in person only. Handling fees still apply for tickets reserved online.
