Join us for an evening of food, music and fun before a performance of Pullman Porter Blues.
Enjoy a pre-show beer tasting with local microbrewery Lake Bluff Brewing Company, food from Norman’s Bistro and the tunes of live Blues classics by Vino Louden, former guitarist for the Koko Taylor Blues Machine. Hear E. Faye Butler (Sister Juba) talk about her role in the play. Then take a music-fueled trip back in time, into the luxurious Pullman trains of the 1930’s, where the hidden lives of African American porters emerge to take center stage and classic Blues favorites—including “Sweet Home Chicago”—come to life.
