Prelude to a Dream dramatizes - through words and music – the dramatic events on the volatile eve of the march which transformed America.

Join the Chicago Urban League for a screening of Brother Outsider: The Life of Bayard Rustin. Brother Outsider illuminates the life and work of Bayard Rustin, a visionary activist and strategist who has been called “the invisible man” and “the unknown hero” of the civil rights movement. Following the film join us for a panel discussion featuring Bennett Singer, co-producer and director of Brother Outsider and local activists in a discussion on contemporary movements for racial, economic, educational and social justice.
