Meet Ryan Cowhey (Tiny Tim)

Ryan Cowhey

Ryan returns to the Goodman for his third season of A Christmas Carol. In 2005, he made his acting debut as Max in Robert Falls' production of Rebecca Gilman's Dollhouse and was the voice of Danny in Rabbit Hole. Mr. Cowhey's film credits include his role as Andrew, Jr., in the motion picture The Break Up. He has appeared in several industrial film and internet media projects for companies including Hyatt and McDonalds Corporation. Mr. Cowhey is eight years old and enjoys playing baseball and football.

Meet Major Curda (Servant Boy/Ignorance)

Major Curda

Major makes his Goodman debut. His previous theater credits include the role of Young Erik in Phantom at Theatre at the Center and a member of Fagin's Gang in Oliver with the Glenview Theatre Guild. Major appears in the Chicago-based film Nothing Like the Holidays this holiday season. He also sings and plays guitar in his band Green Fire.

Tim makes his Goodman debut. His previous Chicago credits include As You Like It at Writers' Theatre; When You Comin' Back, Red Ryder? at Circle Theatre; Mrs. Mackenzie's Beginner's Guide to the Blues at Stage Left Theatre; and understudy performances for The Miser at Northlight Theatre and Short Shakespeare! Taming of the Shrew at Chicago Shakespeare Theater. Tim's regional credits include Ah, Wilderness!, Henry IV: The Making of a King and The Belle's Stratagem at American Players Theatre; The Winter's Tale, A Christmas Carol, Twelfth Night, All My Sons and Coriolanus at the Alabama Shakespeare Festival; and The Tempest and Tartuffe at Door Shakespeare.

Meet Ron Rains (Bob Cratchit)

Ron Rains

You have seen Mr. Rains at the Goodman in Passion Play: a cycle in three parts and Revenge of the Space Pandas. He played Mr. Grouch in the 2005 and 2006 Chicago Symphony Orchestra's Welcome Yule! concerts. Other Chicago credits include I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change! at Royal George Theatre; Romeo and Juliet, A Midsummer Night's Dream, Much Ado About Nothing and Henry IV, Parts 1 and 2 at Chicago Shakespeare Theater; Studs Terkel's The Good War and Enter the Guardsman at Northlight Theatre; The Comedy of Errors at Greasy Joan & Co.; Incident at Vichy at Writers' Theatre; Ballad of Little Jo at Steppenwolf Theatre Company; Cardenio at Next Theatre Company; and Honk! and Carousel at the Marriott Theatre in Lincolnshire. Mr. Rains' regional credits include Love's Labour's Lost at the Notre Dame Shakespeare Festival; A Midsummer Night's Dream, The Winter's Tale, Love's Labour's Lost and The Learned Ladies at Montana Shakespeare in the Parks; Pinocchio at Seattle Children's Theatre; Much Ado About Nothing at New City Theatre in Seattle; and Black Market at Annex Theatre in Seattle. Mr. Rains holds a BFA from Cornish College of the Arts in Seattle and is a proud member of AEA.
