GOODMAN THEATRE: 10 YEARS OF PIONEERING THE NORTH LOOP THEATRE DISTRICT
Now in its 85th year and at the top of its game, Chicago's oldest and largest not-for-profit theater celebrates 10 years in its new home. This milestone anniversary marks 10 years of transforming the Loop into a hub of arts and culture, revitalizing our city's diverse neighborhoods and positioning Chicago as one of this country's leading theater communities. The Goodman's state-of-the-art building at 170 N. Dearborn has led to record growth in all areas of the theater: from supporting our artists as they fulfill their artistic promise; to deepening our commitment to education, diversity and community; to expanding our capital campaign beyond all expectations. Most importantly, however, our new facility has made it possible for the Goodman to provide productions and programs that enrich the quality of life in our city.
