In celebration of Chicago’s annual Gospel Festival, the cast of Crowns will appear in the Jay Pritzker Pavilion in Millenium Park to kick things off on the first night of the festival. The performance is completely free and open to the public—you don’t even need to reserve tickets. Just drop by the park around 6:30 to experience the songs of Crowns!

I attended big Gospel Festival with Crowns showcase. I was surprised to see Pauletta Washington in such a minor role. She is very talented - mistake to not see her talents used more.

Pauletta Washington carrying water and picking up a hat at the kick-off of the Chicago Gospel Festival is not what I expected after seeing all the publicity for this much anticipated show. I hope we will get a chance to experience all of the talent that has come together to make CROWNS successful.

Thanks for your comments! Don’t worry—Thursday’s performance was just a short preview of the full-length production, which will feature Pauletta’s enormous talents on full display.
