Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How will I know you've received my application?

A: As soon as your materials are received and logged into our computer, we will send a confirmation of receipt via email to the specified contact teacher.

Q: May I participate in the program by myself?

A: No. We require two to three teachers to participate from each school to ensure continuity from one year to the next.

Q: Do I need to have a non-humanities teacher in my team to apply?

A: No; however, we encourage such collaborations! Our program will increasingly focus on incorporating non-humanities curriculum into theater education and vice-versa.

Q: When will you notify schools of acceptance into the program?

A: Returning schools will be notified by Sept. 21, 2009. New schools will be notified by Oct. 23, 2009.

Q: What shows will returning schools see this year?

A: All returning schools will see Animal Crackers and The Good Negro. Additional show assignments will be given based on seniority as space allows.
