Patrick Clark

Patrick Clark most recently collaborated with the Goodman on Hughie/Krapp’s Last Tape during the 2009/2010 Season, he also designed for this show during Canada’s Stratford Shakespeare Festival in 2007. Mr. Clark’s Chicago credits include Othello and Much Ado About Nothing at Chicago Shakespeare Theatre. His regional credits include Shadowlands and Jane Eyre, among others at Guthrie Theater; Noises Off and others at Atlantic Theatre Festival; and productions at The Grand Theatre. Also in Canada, his Stratford Shakespeare Festival credits include The Music Man, Oklahoma, Hello Dolly, Anything Goes, Taming of the Shrew and Henry IV, Parts I and II, among many others. Other credits in Canada include White Christmas, Half Life, The Diary of Anne Frank and Oliver! at Theatre Aquarius; It’s a Wonderful Life, Doubt and Tuesdays with Morrie, among many others at Theatre New Brunswick; Leaving Home at Soulpepper Theatre Company; The Game of Love and Chance, The Price and A Few Good Men, among others at Neptune Theatre; as well as works for The Canadian Stage Company, Vancouver Playhouse Theatre Company, Centaur Theatre Company, Shaw Festival, The Elgin and Winter Garden Theatre Centre, Theatre Calgary, New Bastion Theatre Company, Theatre Plus, Banff School of Fine Arts and University of Victoria. He received five Merritt Awards for Outstanding Set and Costume Design and a Jessie Award for Exceptional Integration of Visual Design. Mr. Clark’s television credits include Witness to Yesterday. He has taught at the University of Victoria and Dalhousie University, among others, and received his BA from the University of New Brunswick. Mr. Clark is a member of the Royal Canadian Academy and the Associated Designers of Canada.
