Fred Zimmerman
(Bio as of June 2003)
Fred Zimmerman most recently appeared at the Goodman in Bounce during the 2002/2003 Season. Other Goodman credits include The Rose Tattoo. Since the mid-1980s, Mr. Zimmerman has been seen performing at many of the city’s theatrical venues, including the Court, Organic and Northlight. During the 1990s, he appeared in over fifteen musicals at the Marriott Theatre and spent two years in the national touring company of Show Boat. This led to several other roles, including JP Morgan in the Oriental Theatre’s award-winning production of Ragtime, Santa in both the Radio City Christmas Spetacular and in the premiere of A Miracle on 34th Street at the Chicago Center for the Performing Arts, and Lt. Nick Rosetti in the comedy Shear Madness at the Blackstone. When not onstage, he performs at private parties and corporate functions presenting his one-man show, Backstage Mysteries, an interactive journey through the world of ESP and other mysterious phenomenon.
