Bill McGough most recently appeared at the Goodman in The Edward Albee Festival during the 2003/2004 Season. His most recent stage appearance was as Inspector Athelny Jones in The Sign of the Four at Apple Tree Theatre, directed by Steve Pickering. Other Chicago-area credits include In the Blood at Next Theatre; Henry V, The Cherry Orchard and Marat/Sade with The Hypocrites; The Time of Your Life and As I Lay Dying at Steppenwolf; two seasons with Miracle on 34th Street at the Chicago Center for the Performing Arts; Pygmalion at Apple Tree Theatre; John Bull’s Other Island with Irish Repertory; The Seagull at Timeline; and The Gamester at Northlight Theatre. He was a part of the Jeff Award-winning You Can’t Take It With You, and more than a dozen other productions at Raven Theatre. His television appearances have been confined to commercials, and film appearances include the award-winning independent films The Fence, The Sale, and Design.
