Alicia Berneche most recently appeared at the Goodman in Galileo Galilei during the 2001/2002 Season. She has appeared on the stages of the Lyric Opera of Chicago as Daisy Buchanan in The Great Gatsby; Portland Opera as Constance in Dialogues of the Carmelites and as Sophie in Werther; Opera Festival of New Jersey as Susanna in Le Nozze di Figaro and as the coloratura soprano in Six Characters in Search of an Opera; Skylight Opera in the title role in Lucia di Lammermoor and as Meg and Sissy in the world premiere of Ballymore; Lyric Opera Center in the title role of Lucia di Lammermoor and Antonia in Les Contes d’Hoffman; Orlan­do Opera as Angelina in Trial by Jury; Washington Summer Opera as Kathie in The Student Prince; Annapolis Opera as Adina in L’Elisir d’Amore; Opera North as Gretel in Hansel and Gretel; Virginia Opera as Yum-Yum in The Mikado; Sarasota Opera as Despina in Cosí fan tutte. Notable future engagements include Norina in Don Pasquale for Kentucky Opera and Adina in L’Elisir d’Amore for Arizona Opera.
