Electronic Doors
The left-hand set of the main entry doors on Dearborn Street can be opened automatically.
Elevators
The elevator directly at the Goodman's main entrance provides access to the upper lobby and restrooms, the Owen mezzanine and all levels of the Albert mezzanine. The elevator on the north end of the upper lobby provides access to the balcony level of the Owen Theatre.
Restrooms
Restroom facilities are located in the central lobby on both the ground level and second floor. All restrooms are fully accessible to patrons in wheelchairs. Restrooms on the second floor offer a private restroom for patrons who require assistance.
Accessible Seating for Performances
Goodman Theatre has accessible wheelchair/scooter locations in both the Albert and Owen* theaters.
Depending on your preferences, you can use the promo codes below to access special reserved seat locations when purchasing tickets online:
- TRANSFER: Enter this promo if you wish to transfer to a theater seat from your walker, wheelchair or scooter.
- REMOVAL: Enter this promo if you require a location where a seat can be removed for you to stay in your wheelchair/scooter while you watch the performance.
Please call ticket services at 312.443.3800 if you have questions or would like to purchase over the phone. All of our ticket representatives can assist you in finding a seat location to fit your needs.
Goodman Theatre has a wheelchair on site, which may be used to transport patrons to and from assigned seats. For use of the on-site wheelchair, contact house management at 312.443.3818.
*Although the Owen Theatre is a general admission house, accessible seats will be reserved for you on the seating level you purchase.

One signed performance will be offered for each of the five 2012/2013 Albert productions and for the 2012 production of A Christmas Carol. Assistive Listening Devices
Both the Albert and Owen theaters are equipped with infrared assistive listening devices which patrons may obtain at the gift shop. Assistive listening devices are offered free of charge; a driver's license is required as security.
