OPEN AUDITIONS FOR THE BOYS ARE COMING HOME ON OCTOBER 15
(Chicago, IL - October 4, 2007) Goodman Theatre announces an open casting call for The Boys Are Coming Home, music and lyrics by Leslie Arden, book by Rebecca Gilman, directed by David Petrarca. First developed through the American Music Theater Project at Northwestern University, this show is receiving its first professional production at the Goodman (performances begin June 21, 2008).

*Appointment registration begins at 10am and ends at 1pm. Audition appointments are given on a first-come/first-served basis, in-person in the Goodman lobby on the day of auditions. Do not call the Goodman to schedule an appointment.
Performers should prepare a one-minute monologue and 16 bars of a traditional musical theater selection (up-tempo preferred); accompaniment will be provided. Performers should also bring additional musical numbers, in case another selection is requested.
Members and non-members of Actors' Equity Association (AEA) are welcome to this call. (Actors who participated in Goodman's musical AEA general auditions-held in Spring 2007-need not attend this call). Performers of both sexes and all racial and ethnic types are encouraged to audition.
