GOODMAN THEATRE WELCOMES THREE NEW TRUSTEES,
SHERRY BARRAT, THOMAS F. AICHELE AND SANJAY KHOSLA
(Chicago, IL - January 14, 2008) The Goodman Theatre Board of Trustees proudly announces the election of three new members-Sherry Barrat of Northern Trust; Thomas F. Aichele of American Airlines; and Sanjay Khosla of Kraft Foods. The Goodman's Board of Trustees is a diverse group of corporate executives and individual philanthropists who work closely with Executive Director Roche Schulfer and Artistic Director Robert Falls. Each trustee is an avid audience member and serves as an advocate and ambassador of Goodman Theatre.

Sherry Barrat is the President of Personal Financial Services for Northern Trust. Prior to assuming her current responsibilities in January 2006, Barrat was Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Northern Trust Bank of California, overseeing the organization's Western Region. She joined the California bank in January 1999, coming from Northern Trust Bank of Florida, where she was President of the Palm Beach Region. Barrat is Co-Chair of Northern Trust, N.A. and serves as Director at FPL Group Inc., a Fortune 500 electric utility. She is a member of the Advisory Boards of Northern Trust Banks of California, Arizona and Texas. She is a member of the President's Advisory Council at Columbia College Chicago, a member of The Chicago Network, The Committee of 200, The Trusteeship, Women Corporate Directors and a founding member of the Los Angeles Donors Circle of the Women's Foundation of California.
Thomas F. Aichele is the Vice President of the Central Division Passenger Sales for American Airlines where he leads the field-based sales and marketing team in an 11-state area. Aichele began his 21-year career with American Airlines as a Cargo Account Executive in Washington, D.C. and subsequently served as Caribbean National Account Manager in Puerto Rico, District Sales Manager in Los Angeles and Country Director of Passenger Sales and Marketing for Canada. He was then named Managing Director for Chicago, which led to his current assignment as Vice President of Passenger Sales for the Central Division. Aichele received his BS from Pennsylvania State University and studied at the University of Koln, Cologne, Germany. He is currently enrolled in the Kellogg School of Management Executive MBA program. Aichele served as President of the British-American Business Council, Chicago, between January 2003 and 2006 and currently sits on the Boards of Directors of the German American Chamber of Commerce, the Chicago Botanic Gardens, the Chicago Convention and Tourism Bureau, as well as Advisory Committees for Instituto Cervantes and Clearbrook.
Sanjay Khosla joined Kraft Foods in January 2007 as Executive Vice President and President, Kraft International. In this role, Sanjay is responsible for Kraft's $11 billion business outside of North America. Prior to joining Kraft, Khosla served as Managing Director for the Fonterra Co-operative Group Ltd. in New Zealand. In this role, he was responsible for the consumer dairy product business, Fonterra Brands. Khosla also enjoyed a 27-year career with Unilever based in India, London and Europe, culminating in positions as Senior Vice President Global Beverages and Chairman of the Board for the $5 billion Unilever beverages category. Khosla was named "Marketing Superstar" in 1998 by the prominent marketing industry publication Advertising Age and serves on the Board of Directors for NIIT, a global Information Technologies learning solutions corporation based in New Delhi, India. Khosla graduated with honors in electrical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology and in 1998 completed the Harvard University Advanced Management Program.
