Ron Orbach most recently appeared at the Goodman in Turn of the Century during the 2008/2009 Season. Other Goodman credits include David O. Selznick in the world premiere of Moonlight and Magnolias. Other Chicago credits include Harry Chapin: Lies and Legends at Apollo Theater, the Chicago premiere of Laughter on the 23rd Floor (Broadway debut) at Briar Street Theatre; Chicago (as Amos Hart, for which he received the Jeff Award for Best Supporting Actor) at the Shubert Theatre (also subsequently on Broadway); and The Producers (as the original Franz Liebkind) at the Cadillac Palace. Other Broadway credits include Dance of the Vampires and Never Gonna Dance. Off-Broadway credits include The God Committee at The Lamb’s, Hotel Suite at Roundabout and Mrs. Dally Has a Lover at WestBeth. Mr. Orbach’s regional credits include The Gershwins’ An American in Paris at the Alley, Fiddler on the Roof (Tevye) at Sacramento Music Circus and A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum (Pseudolus) at Denver Center. Mr. Orbach is also an acting teacher and a director (1996 LA Ovation Award for The Ellis Jump).
