Jim Corti

Jim Corti most recently appeared at the Goodman in The Visit during the 2001/2002 Season. Other Goodman credits include Puck in Another Midsummer Night (Jeff nomination), directed by Michael Maggio. With Robert Falls helming, he performed in two other world premieres at the Goodman, Riverview and Book of the Night. He also created the dances for Red Noses and Dancing at Lughnasa. Jeff Awards have been garnered for his performance as Otto Kringelein in Grand Hotel at Marriott Theatre in Lin­colnshire (where he just opened Miss Saigon as the Engineer), his direction for Blues in the Night at Northlight and for choreography in Singin’ in the Rain at Candlelight and Drury Lane Oakbrook. On Broadway, under the direction of Frank Galati, he appeared (and disappeared!) as Harry Houdini in the original cast of Ragtime and also portrayed Tateh in the recent nation­al tour. Other New York credits include A Chorus Line, Hal Prince’s original revival of Candide and national tours of Cabaret (with Joel Grey) and Bob Fosse’s Dancin’.
