Barbara comes to you fresh from the Guthrie’s acclaimed production of Crowns.  Broadway credits include Rabboni. Off-Broadway credits include Josephine’s Song at York Theatre. Regional credits include Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom at Missouri Repertory Theatre; Spunk at Delaware Theatre Company; The Boys from Syracuse at Olney Theatre; The Goodbye Girl at Walnut Street Theatre; Cinderella at Pittsburgh Opera, Cleveland Opera, Fifth Avenue Theatre and Santa Barbara Civic Light Opera; The Old Settler at Florida Studio; It Ain’t Nothin’ But the Blues and Essentially Ellington at Prince Music Theater; Blues in the Night at Virginia Stage Company; One Mo’ Time at Cleveland Playhouse; The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas at North Carolina Theater; Chicago and The Wiz at City Line Theatre; Black Nativity at Freedom Theatre and The Wizard of Oz and Barnum at River Front Theatre. National/International tours include Ain’t Misbehavin’, The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas, Body and Soul, The Harlem Gospel Singers and Harlem Kids Symphony. Film credits include The Grouch (RAI, Italy). Television credits include Guiding Light, True Blue and The RuPaul Show. Recordings include Barbara D.
